October 5, 2022: I didn’t want to jinx it by writing this last night but……

It was a day FREE OF VOMIT!  The ENTIRE DAY!

And he ate more food — still not a lot and definitely not enough, but 2 hardboiled egg whites and 2 bowls of Rice Krispies plus milk.  Oh and a few pieces of candy 😋

It’s a start. And we celebrate all victories.

But today he may be admitted again for Round 2. Not sure where the balance is between stabilizing his nausea/vomiting/weight, his blood cell counts (which I think are above threshold but will know more later today at clinic), and needing to proceed with kicking leukemia’s ass.

stay tuned.

You all rock!

Whoop! Whoop! I totally agree about celebrating all victories. If we could all make that a way of life - celebrating every moment of good in every day rather than stewing about tomorrow, there would be a lot less stress and more mental health in the world. We're cheering you all on 24-7
