Just wanted to give a shout out to Sam and our friend Jen, who’s been behind the scenes helping him find his writing voice, for submitting his first college application on Saturday!!!! 

FU Leukemia!

Oregon has rolling admission so he should hear soon if he is accepted. It’s a great school — but it’s very big, so isn’t a top choice for Sam (he’s looking at schools that are more 5-10K undergrad) — and the likelihood is he’ll get accepted so will have that in his back pocket as he applies to other colleges and universities.

He’s looking at Notre Dame, Wake Forest, Boston College, George Washington, Georgetown, University of Washington, Villanova, and some others. 

On Thursday, Sam had a great opportunity to Zoom talk with a professor at Notre Dame, Dr. Nancy Michael. We are grateful to a friend for connecting him with her as he’s very interested in Neuroscience and Psychology.
