Ted Lasso was a good guess. Ned Flanders was also a good guess —  but in both cases, you forgot 3 things: 

1) Sam’s a teenager so by definition is less cheery and more deadpan

2) Sam’s life involves many more raise single eyebrows and fewer outright smiles.

3) Just like Ron Swanson, Sam has always loved breakfast.
