Nurse Meghan comes through for us yet again and grabbed an appointment for Sam in Interventional Radiology  to have his port removed on Monday December 18th.  This is high caliber nurse jujitsu as it’s the holiday season and that means busy schedules for all the medical specialties too.  

Meghan is the best!  ❤️

This is big news as it means he can do more active things without concern that his port will be impacted. 

He will continue to have monthly labs which will be drawn from his elbow after the port is removed but he’s cool with that. And he’s been told that, unlike his mom, he has great elbow veins 💪🏼.
